Ginger Beef and Tatsoi Stir-Fry
A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef, crisp tatsoi, and a punchy ginger-garlic sauce – all made in one pan.

Ingredients
250g (1/2 lb) beef sirloin or flank
2 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp oil (neutral like canola)
1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
2 minced garlic cloves
1 bunch chopped tatsoi
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Optional: chili flakes
Method
In a bowl, mix beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate 5–10 mins.
Heat oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add beef and sear for 1–2 mins until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté ginger and garlic for 30 seconds.
Add tatsoi and cook for 1–2 mins until just wilted.
Return beef to the pan. Stir in oyster sauce and sesame oil. Toss everything together for another minute.
Serve hot, with rice or noodles if desired. Garnish with chili flakes or scallions.
