OREGANO
Oregano has a warm, earthy, slightly peppery flavour and is perfect in tomato-based sauces, roasted vegetables, marinades, and pizza.
Member of the mint family (Lamiaceae), related to marjoram, basil, and thyme.
A cornerstone of Mediterranean and Italian cooking; rich in vitamin K and antioxidants, and traditionally used to support digestion and immunity.

HOW TO STORE YOUR OREGANO
Storage: Keep fresh in the fridge, wrapped loosely in a damp paper towel or standing in a glass of water, for up to a week.
Drying: Hang small bunches upside down in a warm, dry spot out of direct sunlight. Oregano dries and keeps its flavour exceptionally well.
Freezing: Chop leaves and freeze in ice cube trays with a little water or olive oil; useful for sauces and stews later.
