LEMON BALM

Lemon Balm is a fragrant, lemony herb that's perfect in desserts, teas, salads, roasted vegetables, fish, and chicken

Member of the mint family (Lamiaceae), like basil, mint, and oregano.

Used since medieval times for calming teas and remedies; rich in antioxidants, vitamins A & C, and has mild antibacterial properties.

HOW TO STORE YOUR LEMON BALM​

 

Storage: Keep fresh leaves in the fridge in a damp paper towel or airtight container for up to a week.​​

Drying: Tie stems and hang upside down in a dark, airy place; store dried leaves in an airtight jar.​​

 

Freezing: Chop leaves and freeze in ice cube trays with a little water or olive oil; use in cooked dishes or teas.
