Chive Butter


  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter - room temperature 

  • 3 tbsp chives - finely chopped 

  • 1/4 tsp salt 

  • 1/8 tsp pepper

  • 1/4 tsp lemon zest



Step 1 

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well with a spoon 

Step 2 

Transfer to a piece of wax paper and roll it into a log, pinching the ends of the paper when finished. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 3

Use within 2 weeks. Can also be frozen
